Before the
twilight
feeds the
grass
and makes
its exit,
let me
recount
the story
of these
blossoms
scattered
around
that lent
lustre
to many
a fading
day...
the days
how the
gentle
wind
rode
over them
cheering
me with its
fragrant
fresh
caress...
children
and the
doggie
jolting over
each, in
rollicks
of laughter...
the young
impetuous
self
minding
monitoring
all..
the wild
notions
that pulled
you to
don caps
of a demi-God
deeming
it mattered
most...
no!
evanescence
matters!
the revelling
red blossom
quick to
turn grey, dusty,
to merge
with earth
that absorbs
all...
whither has
it gone
the fanfare
of life?
now
the paced
settling
down of
stirred up
sediments...
the wind
wafts in,
life recurs
in shapes
anew...
acceptance!
hah! moments
built on
fine balancing
prevails
lending
grace...
the joy
that lies
in the
small, mundane...
sip it slowly,
your lonely
saunters
your words,
the noise
within,

whispers...
