Surreal!

In this poem about Coronavirus, Jaya evokes the Mother and speaks of her ways to punish the ‘userper’. An exclusive for Different Truths.

They were self- assured
In their absolute knowledge
In their absolute power,
In their absolute ability,
In their absolute control
They were THE GODS
They were the rulers of the three realms
They had tamed water, fire, earth, air, and sky
They had highly evolved minds
They had studied the books
They had given lectures
They had conducted complex experiments
They had also finally concluded
THEY will bring the end of the world
THEY will act to dreadful consequences
THEY must act before it was too late.
The temperatures will rise
The water will vanish
The trees will shrivel
The sky will rain acids
The birds will be no more
The animals will all be gone.
After their Bomb they make
After their Asteroid they blow up
After their deluge from the melting poles.

He was just a sly selfish predator
The usurper for the three realms
He worshipped Mirages of his own likeness
Called them the true Gods,
Fought ugly blood thirsty battles
For the sway of these Mirages
That they called the true Gods.
Over that which belonged to The Mother.
He had defiled the body of the Mother
The one true Living God,

In a winter that reached out
With chilling unrelenting embrace,
To engulf the summer
Not a leaf was harmed
Not a bird was hurt
Not a creature victimised.
The Mother claimed
What was its own
For those its own
From One who was once her own
The air, water sky, earth and fire was released
Life was beyond the realm of the usurper again
And the usurper has no refuge
From what was neither living nor dead.
The Mother had created
Just
The Virus.
