Monika portrays the splendour of autumn, in this verse, exclusively for Different Truths.
The season of fall arrives
yodelling autumnal songs.
Blithe’ breeze tousles few leaves
to free them from mighty trees.
Rustle of the leaves outside, like a
mother’s lullaby is a consoling delight.
All-over the earthy fragrance spills
after the descent of the drenching drizzles.
Canopies appear as on fire so bright,
yet alighting the witnessing souls of sight.
