Desires

Neelam cautions us that desire takes root and blooms, in this verse, exclusively for Different Truths.

The roots of desire
Force their way
Out of the cover of soil
And burst out as stems.

The stems,
Unable to contain themselves,
Further branch out
And shoots propagate.

The pining
Further blooms
Into colourful florets,
And it can be contained
No more.

As the ripple
Settles down,
Some ripen as fruits
Making one jovial and satisfied.

Others
Simply weep
At the restraint not exercised.
