Don’t Knock my Door

In this inward-looking poem, Dr. Gita, shuts herself within. She seeks solitude. An exclusive for Different Truths.

I’m living at the moment
Please keep your patience,
Kindly don’t knock my door,
I’m living within my indoor,

Please don’t ask me for the key,
I’m now living within me,
Also, don’t ring the door bell,
I’m now absolutely in my cell,

I don’t want anyone near,
Now, I have absolutely no fear,
Please don’t feel bad, my dear,
It’s just not for you only, per sure,

I’m just introducing myself to me,
Since long my inner self and I are together
Without knowing each other,
I just don’t want to delay any further,

At times, I wonder, have I gone mad?
Or am I at my bad?
Should I drag myself out?
Or seal myself within, throughout?
