Relationship

A poem that explores the layers of relationship, by Sudhansu, exclusively for Different Truths.

The moments overflowing
From the brims of the cup
Why so incomplete to farewell the fate?
I wonder how these moments shatter
Like the pity broken glass.
The moments of implosion
Run away with frustration.
I am starting to miss you
Your voice, your face, your compassion.
Your presence had broken my attention.
I redefined myself in a different way
In a non-collapsing delight.
Now my questions return defeated
Unanswered from the devil’s jealousy
Recoiling between two poles.
I call to my own opposites
Utterly finding myself in my hollow face
In the gray sand and sallow stream
In the unconquerable delusion
Of recovery on death bed.
Are all relationships
The virtue of an analytical mind
To deceive us
For the green shadows of the concealed moments?
