A poem about companionship, by Elsy, exclusively for Different Truths.
Many complain of boredom,
yet a day has only so many hours
and things are there so many to do,
and where is the time for boredom?
When alone, let’s enjoy
our own company,
if not us, who else will?
Entertaining oneself
is an art, like any other.
When happy with ourselves
we are happy with the world
and the world is happy with us too.
It is that simple!
