Every woman feels
A secret joy
When she conceives
Life within her.

It’s growing
two ways simultaneously.
Her eating and being eaten
together, makes her dive
into the unknown vistas of Nature.
She is a survivor of
at least one in this world.
‘She is a goddess’
It’s the only feel
that makes her fulfill her life.

Dr. Tejaswini Patil

Dr. (Mrs.) Tejaswini Patil writes about Nature, social issues, feminist sensibilities and her experiences. She has published two collections of poems, ‘Talons and Nets’ and ‘Verses of Silence’.
