The Magic Mantra

Jernail unveils the mystery of existence through the magic mantra. This poem has been translated into Albanian language too. A Different Truths exclusive.

I don’t know

This is the magic mantra

which set voyagers on discovery of the lands across seas

which led the Europeans to colonise the world.

If you wish to colonise the cosmos, say… ‘I don’t know’

For that is the only thing

That can be said about it

And then get after it.

Same is the case with God.

The greatest mystery.

Those who have seen Him

Turn mum.

Utter not a word.

Has anyone returned from

the mortal Odyssey

to tell

what happened and how?

Those who come back

through the mortal track

come washed in the river of forgetfulness;

their memories washed

to start afresh.

‘I don’t know’ gives us passion

to know

And also, the humility to bow

Before the Power behind the show.
