An evocative poem about various aspects and attributes of life, by Elsy, in Different Truths.
Two-in-one,
bane and boon:
this hyper
sensitivity!
The bane is
when even
a word wounds,
a smile deceives
a silence kills!
The boon is
when a word ignites,
a silence inspires
a smile impels.
For the hypersensitive
words compensate fears,
verses recompense tears!
