Puffing Thoughts

Here’s an intense love poem by Anindita, where she sets her lover free. A poignant verse, in Different Truths.

I will not take the effort to reach
back if you think others are
important for your growth, you can
trade towards them

I have my own beliefs you might
not know for they are
quite primitive and old, you can
read about them

the sun will keep rising and the moon
will shine each night
so do not worry, when your faith
comes back call me

without you, I might be sad for a
while but my mirror
will love me and happiness will
walk by

I have learned from this universe
to let go if hearts
do not understand, how much it
takes to beat

but I will not leave you alone for
long unless you decide
not to understand, what is fair and
what is not

till then my friend you can breathe
for a while and puff
some thoughts in the air of life, take
care till we can meet again
