Tales of Digital Love and Deceit

Evocative haikus by Dr Dhiraj, wherein digital romance and love bloom online while deceit thrives in virtual anonymity, exclusively for Different Truths

Hunting

Scrolling through profiles,
Facebook hunting for a connection,
Digital wild chase.

Deceit

Deceit in the sender’s message,
A treacherous path ahead,
Beware of the false guise.

Love App

Seeking companions,
Digital app search’s thrilling,
Connections unfold.

Messenger

A friend request sent,
Seeking wealth and love,
Messenger helps.

Lust

Losing real love in real-time,
For the fake online promising profile,
Virtual reality wins.

Infidelity

WhatsApp’s new settings,
Secret messages flow privately.
Chatting with another

Hollowness

Complex digital mirage,
Sending false caring words all the time,
Fake love is in progress.

Accomplishment

E-profiles’ golden touch,
Love sought through wealth's embrace
The soul remains empty, though.
