Spotlight Suicide: A Flying Corpse of Stranded Desire

The day’s distaste lingers
on the tongues of midnight shadows
that lick a flying corpse of a desire
left stranded on the tracks
of a Metro train.

In the darkness, broken voices emerge
from the deserted wheels;
a severed finger points at
the heavens, cursing it.

A stain of blood
shows bruises of misfortune;
a strand of hair is blown away
by a wind of desperation,
An empty teacup wandering on the platform
remembers an agonised face.
