Ashok’s poem dwells on childhood laughter that echoes forever; ageing tries to dim it, but unbreakable faith in God flips the page and vanquishes every fear, for Different Truths.
The fun and frolic
The childish rhetoric,
In the memories den,
Rock as an indelible one.
The ageing friction,
Blinks on quietly often;
But hopes to overpower
With a sparkling power.
The powerful cord
Of trust in the Lord,
Turning on “a new leaf”
Uproot all fears and grief.
