Spread the love

Reading Time: < 1 minute

An enigmatic love poem by Eliza, for Different Truths.

Uplifted by love
I rush to you
for fulfillment.

I thought I was a woman.
It’s not true −
I am still becoming one.

I discover myself
again.

In the Augustinian hideout,
I have your hidden
words, grimaces, smiles −
all those
that were directed to me.

I hide in myself
what cannot be hidden
− my love.

You taught me to perceive the world differently,
to listen intently to the rhythm of life,
with humbleness wait for a sign −
for a sign
that you are.
