An evocative poem about nature and beauty by Sushant – exclusively for Different Truths.

From a fair life,
A rose is plucked.
The intellect is teased,
Heart starts guiding
With the pounding beats.
No castle of sleep
Can evade the dream
From reaching its top.
Too general,
Too quick
You have lived.
Again, the dream wants life
With no eyes shut.
Be the unknown future,
It’s still flowering like a rose.
That has forgotten its thorn
A rose is an essence.
It is the perfume of belief –
Its spell amuses me.
A rose kisses the blowing wind,
And attains the whole world;
You pluck only as an excuse
To charm the beauty.
