Piku celebrates life in clay dolls, in this poem, exclusively for Different Truths.
In every clay doll on the shelf There is a throbbing artist heart A pulsating creative vision, which Carves a dream from a diffident start. It just takes a seeking soul To feel the life in clayey forms It just takes two hopeful eyes To perceive calm in times of storms. How the sunrays sparkle on How the flowers sway How the blue skies kiss the lakes And how the moist eyes pray! Everywhere in nature and prayer There is echo of vibrant life Only takes a mindful vision To touch it beyond all death and strife.
