Unlocking Terror: Confronting the Ghoulish Stranger at the Fireside

When I sit at my desk at midnight
Pondering on my thoughts
Under the silver moonlight
At first, I saw the view
Trembled down with fright
The stranger at my fireside
That creeps in front of me
Something scurried across the floor
A shrill cry across the door
And the ghoulish white
Vowed to human smite
As the fear is tying me down
While I search the cusp for spiritual sight
Into the realm of the mysterious night
Across the front of my mind
I'd be there, ducking out in fright.
It must have made me feel grise
Seeing me with those dead eyes
Sitting on my face
Silence, witnessing some strange race
The sheer power and peace
And the cold, death touch that he has
That lingering stare
Eyes off from that Kubrick glare
The night became blurry
As I tried to breathe harder
Too little oxygen is making its way
Into the bloodstream
I know I need to seek
All my way up to mortal combat
Blinding and blacking in the air
The smile it gave chilled my spine
His gruesome grace
Allied the cursed eclipse
When only the wicked know
How to embrace
The voice on my phone
Terrifying and bald
All that I saw and heard
There I walked, and there I ran
Something is growing behind you,
And that Kubrick glare
Out of reach, not with you
That is with you at your house
In your bedroom, in the corridors
And in your dreams
But I trust the superiors
Upon my shoulder, the ray of hope
And the golden beam
Break through the darkness
A new way for sunniness
Locked myself in the spiritual silver cage
When I called upon my angel protector
There is light despite all the darkness
The new dawn is going to bloom
Fresh like roses
I feel buoyant as a breeze
For me, there is always light
If only you're strong enough to brave it
Those days of the year
My faith, that it couldn't tear up.
