The Miracle of Shirdi: Finding Hope & Healing

There’s a certain slant of light
that cruises through the barbed enclosure;
the Eternal Dhooni burning bright
warming the bare floor laden with feet
aching for an invisible touch of grace.

The block of stone, ordinary like any other
housing the blessed weight of saintly fervor;
sits in protected parrock, the glass
a thin curtain between a human touch
of divine presence and mere mortal thought.

Saintly frame beckoning those who need
seraphic benevolence from a tomb
that blesses, heals, and loves the living dead:
a knock on souls requiring awakening,
a realisation to begin afresh.

The aura of divinity, a gust of breeze
patting the neem tree, looking around
at hurting hearts with karmic overloads
yearning for a leaf to miraculously fall on them;
the air reverberating with one name—Sai!
