Sunlight on Fragments

Here is an evocative poem about inner turmoil finding outward expression by Ketaki, exclusively for Different Truths.

Sometimes there is intensely hurting isolation.
Vulnerable and feral, destroying and agonising.
Earnestly clutching to the very core of hurting.
Intellectual, rapacious, overwrought with emotions.
My sensitive heart is passionate,
Continuously aflame and burning,
Intertwined deeply with my life’s ups and downs.
Every little thing matters,
Each atom invariably flushes heat.
Itinerant thoughts, fractions wanting to be set free.

Caught between credulous seriousness,
Emotional fumes brew,
Intellectual pursuits of logic break their moulds,
Wild prismatic eyes revolve three-sixty degrees,
Scanning and searching for answers.
Searching and scanning for answers,
Continuously…

Sometimes extreme ideas wave their uncertainty,
Like a Greek tragedy of emotions,
That is too deep, too heady…
Too tragic!
Irregular patterns of order,
Create chaos in our complex brain,
In my clusters of thoughts,
Resonating in my adoptive mindset,
Awaiting the transcendence of sunlight,
On all the fragments of thought.
