A humourous poem in defence of lethargy, by Soumya, for Different Truths.
All my energy Is seeping out of me This extreme lethargy This height of ennui Will be the death of me For there’s a gaping hole In the fabric of my soul They have abandoned me Floundering in a cold dark sea I hoped they would come back And bring the joy I lack I thought that it would seal And that I would heal But the trickle became a spout My energy all drained out I am sinking in dark despair In the Dementor’s lair The joy is sucked out of my soul I’m drowning in a bottomless hole Will someone help me This is a desperate plea
