A Warning

An evocative love poem, by Ayub, exclusively for Different Truths.

Take care of your eyes,
For there remain many calamities yet behind,
Dreams remain yet behind,
Chill of the season has stung the roses,
Outside the boundary of words and meanings.

Take care of your eyes,
For that each encroaching moment will be
A herald of the doomsday.
Take care of your eyes,
For these dreams are the only assets of life.
