A poignant poem by Sonali that deals with appearances vis-à-vis reality, exclusively for Different Truths.

Is faking a smile called positivity
Is covering your sorrow defined as witty
Bearing all the hurt
Believing you are of no worth
Being terrified by storm
While acting all strong
Will that be termed as positivity
Believe me, it is a wrong treaty
We are taught to be good when we feel bad
Play happy when we feel sad
These concepts are far from the true plot
Positivity is to know we can be lost
To know we will be fine at any cost
Positivity is strength dressed as weakness
It is you versus your brain’s play of chess
Positivity is being more of you while having less.
