Amita gives a sketch of Mumbai locals overflowing with people, in this poem, exclusively for Different Truths.

Like those Mumbai locals,
Where you find
Souls clutching poles,
Lives hanging
By their hands,

My thoughts
Squeezing in,
Clutter my mind,
Clingy yet pushing
Verses out,
Neither silent,
Nor loud.
