Haiku Reflections: Grief, Thunder, Memories, and Moonlight

Spread the love

Reading Time: < 1 minute

These haiku verses, by Jennifer, express grief, storms, remembrance, and connection, reflecting fleeting emotions.

Grief crashes in at
Least-expected times
Uninvited guest

***

Thunder rolls in
The not-too-distant sky and
I open my windows

***

Conjuring my mom
One sip of Constant Comment
She is in the room

***

Cross country skiing
By the light of the full moon
Over the fence with Dad
