Farewell Emperor: Poppies Bloom in a Garden Sanctuary

Spread the love

Reading Time: < 1 minute

Bushra’s poem, dedicated to her grandson, features a vibrant garden filled with crimson blooms and poppies. exclusively for Different Truths.

Come, let’s gaze at the poppies
Swaying gently in the warm breeze
They've created a stunning foreground
For the monument where an emperor sleeps

The garden is all ablaze today
With their bright scarlet bloom
That tell of sunny days ahead
Long past winter’s gloom

Look carefully all around you, dear
A feast, certainly, for your eyes
The majestic flowers are a sight to behold
As they stand tall in their crimson pride

I’ll pick you a bunch of these poppies
Their elegance, that you so adore
You can press them between pages of your book
To admire when the season is no more.
