Childhood and Family Photos Amidst the Cobwebs

Spread the love

Reading Time: < 1 minute

Debarati’s reflective poem celebrates memories of childhood, woven into the tapestry of the home, which evokes laughter, joy, and an enduring spirit, exclusively for Different Truths.

My mind churns with the memories
of a summer afternoon
Memories of the house I grew up in.

My soul smells of the chipped wall paints.
The wall on whose bosom hangs our family photo
flanked by cobwebs now.
