Sujata Sankranti worked as Associate Professor in Delhi University. She was All-round Winner of Commonwealth Short Story Prize, 1998. Has published a volume of short stories The Warp and the Weft and other stories and a novel In the Shadow of Legends Her short stories have been published in journals and anthologies in India and abroad. Her stories have appeared recently in Transnational Literature and Glass Walls, a joint publication by India and Australia. Currently she lives in Mumbai
