Saptarshi Mukherjee, born in a peaceful environment, near Kolkata, India, began painting from an early age. He is self-taught and expresses himself through abstract art. Dissatisfied with traditional learning methods, he found his passion in photography and later in painting. His abstract forms were inspired by his growing-up images and ideas. With a passion for travelling, he teaches at Techno India Group Public Schools in India.
