He has authored the literary science fiction thriller Toxic Spirits, along with scholarly books on the intersections of computing, narrative, and linguistics, published by OUP, Nebraska, and elsewhere. Mani’s stories, essays, book reviews, and translations have appeared in 3:AM Magazine, Aeon, Apple Valley Review, Drunken Boat, Eclectica, Future Library, New World Writing, PANK, Slow Trains, The Hindu, The Deccan Herald, and other venues.
